Work Package 3: Assessment of on-going research
WP3 will process the information gathered in previous step to evaluate the state of the research on membrane technology in order to identify needs, gaps in knowledge, possible cooperation, overlapping and the potential application in Mediterranean Partner Countries (MPCs) regional conditions. The development of this work package will be a key figure in completing ProMembrane goals, since it will be the scene which allows discussion and evaluation of the scientific and technological needs of this technology to be further applied as a sustainable method for the water crisis of the Mediterranean basis. A list of needs and requirements for the membrane technology in order to be further applied in the Mediterranean area will be compiled.
Objectives
The aim of WP3 is to asses the on-going research being performed in the field of membrane technology in the MPCs.
Its specific objectives are:
- To define the gaps of knowledge.
- To identify possible overlapping research.
- To define the needs and requirements.
