Scientific programme
The scientific programme of the ProMembrane International Conference included:
- Plenary and keynote lectures by members of the consortium and guest speakers.
- Oral presentations: Young Scientist Award (Middle East and North Africa).
- Paper and poster presentations.
- Chaired discussions and dialogue sessions between research institutions and industry (parallel to the plenary sessions).
- Exhibition of innovative products and projects.
As one of the objectives of ProMembrane project is to promote the establishment of permanent communication links between research centres in the Mediterranean region, promoting the know-how exchange and expertise in relation to membrane technologies, the ProMembrane International Conference was held within the frame of the International Syposium on Biotechnology, organised by the Centre of Biotechnology at Sfax from 4th-48th of May, 2008.
